2018 New Years Resolutions

Its that time of the year already! I cant believe how far this year has just gone by and I don't think I really even achieved the goals I had mentally put together, but lets try and work on the new year. I had a lot of change this year such as getting married, moving abroad, being in and out of jobs, adjusting to being a wife, being able to concentrate on the blog and just adjusting to new life. In some way I did achieve the bigger goals I had planned for, but its just those smaller things. I will have to carry them over for 2018 and lets just say they will be a working progress! So here goes.... 1. Travel more of Australia - Ive been here for nearly a year and I havn't even left the state

Rodan+Fields Reverse Regime

“We want to give everyone access to dermatology-inspired skincare so they can experience the personal confidence that comes with a healthy, clear, even-toned complexion. That's why we created Rodan + Fields.” —Dr. Katie Rodan and Dr. Kathy Fields Skin Care is a major aspect of my life especially as I am growing older, so Its really important to care of it earlier rather than later. Over the last few years I have incorporated many different skin care products into my regime from toning, using serums and SPF's and to using an eye cream daily. These didn't exists in my life when I was in my early 20's and I'm really glad that I did pick up the habit to pamper and look after my skin. Our goal i

Loreal Paradise Extatic Mascara

When Im not using a high end mascara I've always turned to Loreal for an amazing high street alternative. For as long as I can remember I went through stages of loving the Volume Million Lashes and Miss Manga. Then I fell for the False Lash Superstar which was my everyday alternative. When I heard that Loreal had released Paradise Extatic and that it was supposedly a dupe for the Too Faced Better than Sex Mascara, I went crazy trying to look for it in the stores here and had no luck, so I had to wait months until I could get my hands on it when I was in London. ( I went crazy and bagged myself 3!) I have long lashes and quite a few of them, but I always want more. I love a thick voluminous f

Benefit's Soft and Natural Brow Kit

I like to keep my eyebrow routine quite effortless and don't like spending too much time on them. The more time I spend, the more unnatural they look. I have a few eyebrow products that I use on regular basis and have only a few items in the brow collection. My brow hairs are quite long which cover most of my brow area, but I do have some sparse areas which I fill to give some definition. I also have some areas in the middle of the brow which is condensed with hair so can get unruly and need a setting product to keep them in place to ensure the definition of the brows stay. I love the Benefit Gimme Brow but I had the old packaging tube and I felt really left out so decided to try out some of

New Loreal Goodies!

I would like to start by saying a big thank you to Loreal for sending me these gorgeous goodies which was a lovely surprise, to be greated by this goodies after my holidays! I have recently fallen in love with the Colour Riche Matte lipsticks and slowly been purchasing more ( I also came home with a new shade from London) so I was really excited to try out some of the new shades. I have also been using the Loreal Mascaras for years which I really enjoy, my current fave being the False Lash Superstar. All the products are new to me and were launched during the 2nd half of 2017. I've been using them all for about a month now, so I have put together my thoughts below. GLAM BEIGE FOUNDATION Ive

Bellabox Nov 17 | Get Your Glow On

I am loving the items I got in this months Bellabox issue, so its excusable that the box came much later than it usually does! We were sent some gorgeous items to get summer ready and all the brands except the perfume are new to me so it was really exciting for me to get testing. All subscribers were sent the Manna Kadar Illuminator this month which is very pretty. Evodia Australia Adelaide Hills Jasmine Body Mist This spray was my favourite product of the month. The smell of jasmine from the bottle was so pure and fresh. I have a jasmine bush in my back yard so each time I went into the garden just before spring when the jasmine was in full bloom, the garden smelt amazing and sweet. Just li

I was so excited to get my hands on some of the Glossier products as I've heard such great reviews and I wanted a piece of the fun too. It was originally just available in the US, but recently it was made available in the UK, so whilst I was there I ordered myself some products. If you haven't heard of Glossier, it is a brand put together by beauty editors from the popular beauty blog  . Using their experiences, knowledge and recommendations they created Glossier to give us amazing products to beautify the skin we have. Their motto is that SKIN CARE IS ESSENTIAL AND MAKE UP IS A CHOICE.  Phase 1 products are the not so basic- basic skin care products that work together to gi

No Bake Oreo Peanut Butter Cheesecake

So last night I decided last minute to make a quick dessert, using some Peanut Butter Oreos that my husband had bought a few packs of, to take to my in laws to enjoy after dinner. I had been out during the day so I rushed to Coles to get the remaining ingredients and had it made within the hour. The cheesecake is so easy and quick to prepare and most importantly tasty and indulgent! A small slice was satisfying with a strong cup of tea and went down a treat with everyone! Some followers on my instagram wanted the recipe so I've attached it below. Hope you all enjoy it as much I did. 150g Peanut Butter Oreos 70g melted unsalted butter 250g cream cheese 1/2 cup crunch peanut butter 1/2 cup cas
