I was really kindly sent two products from their Brightening range which have two common ingredients: Green Tee and Kakadu Plum extract.

Kakadu Plum is native to Australia and grows only in a small northern region of the country.  It is known for having the highest Vitamin C concentration of any single natural food source in the world, up to 100 times more Vitamin C than orange!

Green Tea is known to protect the skin from free radical damage. The antioxidants is also known to reduce premature ageing  and great for oily skin by clearing clogged pores.

The Foaming Green Tea cleanser is formulated to gently clean the pores whilst removing build-up of makeup ( including waterproof eye makeup) dirt and other impurities. The Camellia oil within the cleanser is what hydrates and conditions the skin leaving it feeling soft and supple. It also has cucumber extracts which is to help reduce the appearance of pores and further hydration. The cleanser is also a sulphate free cleanser and suitable for all skin types. It contains Green Tea and Kakadu Plum which together is an antioxidant and brightens to bring radiance to dull and tried skin.

The cleanser is a gel which foams up with a little water. Its not super soapy, which I preferred and is really gentle on the skin. I found that It was also easy to rinse off. I find really soapy cleansers take forever to rinse off as its still becoming more sudsy with the addition of water which is annoying, so this was perfect. My skin felt soft, supple and thoroughly cleansed after use. It was also great in removing panda eyes I may have had from trying to remove makeup prior. There were times I have only used a wipe to remove makeup and after using the cleanser and going into tone, there wasn’t much makeup on my cotton pad either. Its really gentle which I liked and on most days I it use it both AM and PM. Although the cleanser has made my skin look clearer and I’ve had very few breakouts, I did have still have some dry skin on my nose. It is not an exfoliate so I have had to use a scrub on alternatives nights to help with the flaky skin and a nourishing moisturiser to nourish. Despite that my skin has still looked bright and clearer. I also didn’t find the cleanser drying on my skin, as It didn’t strip always all my oils – Bonus!

The Green Tea day cream is formulated to help uneven skin tone whilst also hydrating the skin at the same time. It combines Superox C derived from kakadu plum, B3, B5 with hyaluronic acid to brighten the skin. It also has Chronoline TM which is a peptide to protect the skin from forming fine lines, along with Niacinamide – otherwise known as Vitamin B3 which is an multitasker and has lots of benefits for the skin. Green Tea and Kakadu Plum together are a rich source of antioxidants such as Vitamin C, Vitamin E and polyphenols. The cream is said to give you more radiant looking skin which is hydrated and even in tone.

The day cream is oil free, smooth, light and nourishing in texture. I have been on the hunt for a new day cream so I was sent this at the perfect time. I have really enjoyed using it during the day, but on some days depending on the humidity,  I did find it a little too creamy for my oily skin, so I would only use a small amount, or lather on as a night cream. The cream will be perfect for the colder months to use more frequently as part of my morning skin care routine as my skin does get dryer. Its really hydrating and nourishing without clogging up the pores and left my skin really soft. In conjunction with the cleanser my skin has looked much brighter, firmer and smoother.

Overall I enjoyed using the duo as part of my skincare routine. Although they are products I can’t use every day – as I need to give my combo skin some variety of products for the ultimate best care- they are defo items I can happily incorporate into my routine and also use when my skin needs just gentle effective care. The products are suitable for all skin types, is gentle enough to use daily and also smells lovely. Its not heavily fragrance either so is really pleasant and refreshing.

My skin has actually looked and felt really good recently. I’ve used these two products as my main products throughout the last 4 weeks. During the summer my skin goes a little crazy with all the humidity, heat and direct sunlight , and I also get a really weird patchy pigmentation- but so far my skin has been perfect with no issues.
