Noelle Australia’s journey started from a Christmas holiday back in 2006, where the founders travelled around Australia covering nearly every state and territory, immersing themselves in all the an abundance of sensory delights from the different places sights, sounds and smells and along the way learning about all the unique Australia native plants and their unique healing properties.
And that’s where and how the brand started off, making it uniquely Australian with their story set in lands dominated by coastal towns and uncharted wilderness calling out to be explored.
The brand discovered the amazing effects of many Australian native plants and marine actives, and holistically curated skincare products to make their users feel submerged in the ambient delights of Australia’s wilderness and be pampered by the nutrient rich native plants extracts that heal and soothe the skin and mind.
The brands products are all 100% Australian Natural Active Ingredients, Vegan and Cruelty. They are also free from Parabens, Phenoxyethanols, SLES and Dimethicones.
I was sent the Outback Luxury Nourish Face serum to try and my initial thought was how luxurious the packaging looked. The serum is bottled in a gold plated bottle to help protect the ingredients to stay active and fresh. Its got gold and black labelling and has a Dosed pipette for application.
The serum is formulated with a combination of luxurious oils including Rosehip, Grapeseed and Jojoba. The potent native Australian extracts use are Sandalwood and Wattleseed. It doesn’t stop there though- the serum is also enriched with essentials oils from Rose, Lavender and Geranium. It’s a very luxurious oil! Combined the skin is aimed to help nurture skin , replenish nutrients for vital collagen generation and to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles to give you youthfully hydrated and vibrant skin.
I’ll try and summarise how each of the ingredients benefit the skin:
Sandalwood – Anti-ageing to reduce fine lines and improve skins tone
Watteleseed – Nourishing and gives a radiant boost for the skin
Rosehip – is Anti Ageing, to help repair scaring , fight against wrinkles and fine line and improve moisture and collagen levels.
Grapeseed – is Anti ageing, protects skin from free radicals and environmental factors
Jojoba - has anti-inflammatory properties, has skin repair benefits and soothes dry skin.
Rose – hydrating and evens skin tone
Lavender – to soother and calm
Geranium – Improve texture and suppleness of skin
So you may be thinking why is this called a serum if its filled with oils?! I’m not entirely sure but its most likely because of the way it feels and looks. It is clear and has a slight thickened feel and is very smooth when massaged onto the skin. Its not very greasy or oily, but more glossy and silky and it melts into the skin. A few drops is enough and I find it so hydrating and nourishing, I don’t always need a moisturiser. Not that its a lot cooler and I have the ducted heating on at home, I do then use a moisturiser before I sleep to finish of my skin care.
It also smells amazing and has a lovely sensory feel to it. As its filled with so many oils, I cant pin point what it smells exactly of but its rich and fresh at the same time and Its very pleasant.
Ive been using the oil quite a bit and overall I do wake up with softer skin that looks more plump, fresh & radiant. I didnt feel a dramatic difference in one night of using but more over a period of time - which is fine and normal. I do enjoy using it and find myself turning to it more often and actually using oils most nights at the moment. As its filled with lots of amazing oils- I dont mind and have been feeding my skin all the goodness!
