Empties: February

This months empties are all skin care items. They obviously finish much quicker then make up as you use them more regularly and more of it. I try not to buy too many different skin care products, just so that I can use one item for a longer period to actually see and notice differences it make to my skin. Some of these items i have used regular and re-bought as I loved them so much!

1. Super Facialist by Una Brennan Vitamin C Brightening Cleanser

I mostly use this cleanser in the morning. Its smells gorgeous and citrusy and its a great way to wake up. Its an oil cleanser , very gentle and cleansing and leaves your skin feeling refreshed. It rinses out very well as its becomes a milky solution. Im onto my 3rd bottle now. Thats how much I love it! I have only seen this product in big Boots stores.

2. Nivea 2 in 1 Cleaner Toner

I have used this for years and swear by its power of removing make up! Its a creamy formula which I just squeeze onto some cotton pads and wipe on to my skin to remove make up. I melts products away well and I feel I get a much cleaner cleanse then some other cleanser. I use this to pre cleanse and I know for sure that that all my make up has come off. I do have some days after a long day at work where I just cant be bothered to wash my face ( so terrible of me , I know!) but I can rely on this product to ensure everything is taken off. Mind you, you will need about 3 cotton pads to do the job well!

3. Dr Jarts Water Act Skin Mist

I got this full size sample in one of my earlier Birchboxe. This hydrating toner lasted a very long time and you only need about one spray to get you whole face. I haven't re purchased this Item, as I have a similar product of other brands already which are just as good.

4. Pixi Glow Tonic

About a year ago, I stopped using exfoliating scrubs and brushes and have only used acid tone products. I use the Glow tonic in the evenings and it smells so refreshing and zingy. You just need to pour some onto a cotton wool and spread over your face after cleansing/hydrating tone. This bottle lasted me 6 months which is great for its value. I have had no problems with dry patchy skin abd my skin always feels soft and supple each morning. I have bought this again and its now a staple of my skin care routine

5. Trilogy RoseHip Oil

This oil is AMAAAZING! I have used it for a few years and mostly use it at night time, so it can work its magic over night. It does make my skin shiny but thats why I only use it at night. I sometimes mix it with my night cream, so its doesn't feel so greasy on my skin. Its known for its nourishing, hydrating and repairing attributes, which is why my skin feels soft and rejuvenated after prolonged use. I use this alternating with my Vitamin E oil.

6. Tata Harper Rejuvenating Serum

I haven't bought this again as I know its a bit dear in price, but I used this every evening whilst on my recent holiday. Its was hot and sunny which resulted in parched out skin. For that reason I use this every night and my skin was literally in the best condition its been in. It could also be that I was consistent in the products I used and I also got lots Vitamin D! ( products used will be in a future Travel Essential Post).
