BirchBox UK

My love affair with the Birchbox started in the Autumn of 2013. My sister made the initial introduction after she was given her free box at London Fashion Week. She came home and I think I was more excited then she was! I can remember she was given some popcorn, hair product, Nail Polish and I think a lip product, the variety of products really grabbed my attention. At around that time, there were not many Beauty Boxes around and it was a brand new thing. I immediately got really excited and signed up to a 6 months subscription. I knew that I would love it, despite never ordering from them before. I reviewed their previous boxes and saw that they did send out some pretty good products, some being newly discovered brands and some being very popular brands. Their affiliation with Benefit was also an decision maker.

That was when my journey started.

I have  now been on the Birchbox subscription for nearly two years. This has been a great way for me to try out new or existing products which have all been tailored to my profile. When I initially subscribed I had to submit my profile details from Skin type, Hair Type, Skin Colour etc. This will help the BirchBox Team tailor the box sent to each subscriber.

My box arrives usually arrives the second Friday - Saturday of the month. I very excitedly wait and usually come home from a stressful work day to the perfect little box. The teasers Birchbox send out on their social media's add to the anticipation.

I usually get between 5-6 products from a wide range and a booklet/info card with the how to's on the products. I tend to keep these as some sample products do not have any guidance of use on them. You can also find more information on the Birchbox Website.

One of the biggest benefits of Birchbox for me,  is that you can accumulate points. You can do this by either completing monthly reviews on each product or buying from their store, which includes the subscriptions. Reviews are worth 8-9 points and every £  spent on the online store gives you 1point. 100 points will give you £10.

Once you have a subscription you can also refer your friends. Each person who subscribes using your link will gain 50 points and you are also rewarded with 50 points!

The Birchbox is £10.00 at the time of this blog , plus £2.95 P&P.

This is my link, should you wish to subscribe!

I will be reviewing my box each month, if you would like to know what I thought, catch up on my blog each month when I publish my reviews!

NOTE UPDATED: I no longer live in the UK and Do not have a subscription to Birchbox anymore. I have subscribed to Bellabox 1.6.17
